Chen Zi'ang is one of the early masters of Tang poetry. Now you can
read some of his poems translated for the first time into English by
Lan Hua

extraordinary it is, that it was written in China during the 9th
century and not France during the 19th century.
At the World's Other End
by Li Shang Yin
Another spring day
At the world's other end
At the end of the world
In the sun's slanting rays
The nightingale cries
At the end of the day
Her tears moisten the petals
On the flower's highest stem
天涯
春日在天涯
天涯日又斜
莺啼如有泪
为湿最高花
